#100LBWeightLossJourney – My Insides Hurt
Here’s a picture of the kids and I after a 2km walk to Nana and Papa’s house:
They hopped, walked, jogged, skipped and ran the whole way. I walked, wasn’t feeling up to running on my day off. But we made it and survived.
Today, my insides are killing me..not sure what’s up..going to have to keep a close eye on the pain though to see if I can go running tonight or not.
New week of challenges with the Single Dad Laughing Health Club. This week’s challenges are so awesome..only because they support my belief of you can have your cake and eat it too…or rather…you can eat the cake and lose weight! ;-p It is all about moderation!!! Here’s today’s challenge:
“1) DAY ONE CHALLENGE: Choose one of your favorite MEALS that you think you can’t possibly ever eat as part of a healthy lifestyle. And, eat it in all its unhealthy glory. The challenge is that you must find a way to make it fit into your day in a healthy way. Burn extra calories that day to make room for it? Sure. Just eat a small portion instead of the usual big one? Sure. Get creative, do research if you must, ask the group for advice or opinions, just do it, take a picture of you eating it, and report to the group after your meal just how you made your most unhealthy meal a part of your healthy day.” – Credit @Dan Pearce
Haven’t decided what exactly this will be..but, more likely then not..it’s going to be french fries…and I may even deep fry them…LOL..hope my insides hold out so I can run tonight and then do a workout after running…I’ll let you know how that goes!
