My 100LB WeightLoss Journey Day #15
Phew! Start of a new week for me on my journey. I did NOT want to workout this morning…and I even went to bed at 8pm last night! LOL. I laid there for a few minutes soaking in the fact that I really did need to get up and do my workout…I looked outside and saw that gorgeous morning sunrise and said “OKay! Let’s get it done!”..got my exercise gear on and my bottle of water and hit play on the DVD player.
I did the first 10 minutes of Dance Workout For Dummies. I found that it was a little much for me to get into that early in the morning, but, I will go back sometime in the future and try this workout again. It did look like lots of fun and would definitely give a good workout but, I do not think it is for a beginner.
So, I put in Turbo Jam and did the “Fat Blaster” workout, which is very similar to the Turbo Fire HIIT30 workout. However, yet again with the Turbo Jam videos, the cameraman kept messing me up and changing views just as they would be changing what they were doing…so I modified and kept on moving, but it was extremely frustrating because I would really like to be able to learn the workout and I can’t do that if I have to keep stopping to figure out where they went….LOL..oh well, I got it done and I definitely worked it good. 🙂
I had a toasted cheese sandwich for breakfast this morning, and have had my cup of coffee, so off to take my little girl to school and then it’ll be back for a snack of apples.
NOTE: for those of you who would like to have apples for snacks and do not like to eat them whole, or carry a knife around to slice them. I bought myself an apple slicer/corer (all in one) and it works like a charm. I definitely eat more apples now. Put cold water in a bowl and add in some lemon juice (I’d say I added about 1 tbsp lemon juice per cup of water). After slicing the apples throw the apples slices in the mixture for a minute or two, then drain them in a colander. I did mine yesterday morning and they still are good to go, not slimey and barely a tinge of any brown. And it really did not effect the taste much either.
Okay, so Day#15 is almost over…but…I really, really, really want to sit and watch a movie and have some snacks tonight…I did really good all day eating healthy and I don’t plan on going to bed for a few more hours…..hhhmmmm…guess I’ll let you know tomorrow morning how I coped/managed with this craving!
*Although I do give myself a standing ovation for making it out of 2, not 1, 2 stores today where I was extremely tempted to buy some snacks and sweets (at like 10 am) – I managed to leave the grocery store with a cucumber and bread and some hot dogs for the kids; and the others store I bought pegs for a stand and a little angry bird smash’em thingy for my kids. Normally, on any other day, I would’ve bought a bag of chips, pop, and chocolate bar for my drive home…but today I had apple slices and a bottle of water with me. 🙂
