My 100LB WeightLoss Journey Day #12
Well, Day #12 started of slow and kind of sleepy..and with that, always comes problems with trying to get a workout done. Not only did my kids keep interrupting at the beginning, I got a phone call just after the first 10 minutes. So, I had to stop and start all over again…I got my 30 minutes in and probably got a few extra minutes too with having to start from the beginning.
As recommended from a reader, I checked out Turbo Jam with Chalene Johnson. The recommended first workout is the “Learn & Burn” where you first go slowly through the moves and learn them and then do a basic first workout. Now, for me, as much as I enjoyed the breakdown of the movements, I found it to be a bit too slow for me and boring….but..I do know that good things come to those who wait…so I went through the motions and then did the accompanying workout. I had to modify still a bit because having to switch quickly from one movement to another isn’t something that comes easily to me…I’m hoping in time it will come a little more naturally. And yes, I will keep doing Turbo Jam and working on it.
I had to take my little girl to a party today, so two days of parties…weeeeeee! Kids, kids, and more kids. EEeekk.
I did not snack as much at this party but, still enjoyed a small plate. I did however, have an unhealthy supper…which I enjoyed immensely and stuffed myself silly. But, again, hat goes around, comes around…and I will pay for this in more ways then one! LOL
Had a good day, tomorrow I will do my extra minutes of exercise so stay tuned for Day#13’s post!
Went to bed super early! No nighttime eating!
