My 100LB WeightLoss Journey Day #8
Okay, so it is the morning of Day #9 (workout is done!) and I am just posting now about yesterday because, I went to bed at 8pm last night!!!!!! I could not function at the end of the day I was so tired. Good thing I did…My little girl was up at 5:30am….today is going to be another long day…LOL.
Okay so a quick break down of yesterday. I wanted to try a new workout so I did a YouTube search on “Workout routine” and found the “Low Impact Cardio Workout for Beginners” on the Fitness Blender Channel. (Click on the name to go straight to the video).
While this workout was a little more basic, they do 3 sets of 1 routine, so you can easily learn the moves; I found it focused too much on being in a lunged position (which is bad for my knees – and I had to often stop and do something else for this part of the workout). The other thing it was lacking was music….the workout is a woman on a white screen doing to moves with a male voice explaining in the background what to do…so not motivational in any way…and a little boring…BUT, definitely a more basic workout that might be good for someone with limited mobility (if you can stand doing the static lunge position).
FitnessBlender has a bunch of different videos to do, so it might be worthwhile to check them out. As for me, I am looking for a little more motivation and fun in my workouts.
Nonetheless 8 days of exercising done!!! woooooohoooooo!
I have come to the conclusion that for me, nighttime snacking is my biggest downfall and hurdle to overcome….BUT I am also much more aware of the reason WHY I snack at night…..it’s like when I used to smoke…I would go outside and have a 5 minute de-stress and relaxing moment….AND…that is EXACTLY what I am doing at night with snacking. I finally get the kids to bed and have a moment to not think about anything else but me and being able to relax and enjoy myself…and…having a moment to eat something without being interrupted or on the move…it’s a pure moment of enjoyment.
So, for me this is going to be one of those things that I will have trouble with…unless I just go to bed like I did last night. LoL.
So, I did my workout, I am held accountable for Day#8, I didn’t over snack, so no extra exercising needed….
Done Done Done!
