My 100LB Weightloss Journey Day #6
Phew! What a day! I am so freakin exhausted! So, last night I used up some saved snack “credits” and had some microwave popcorn and a can of pop…Now, I fully realize why eating carbs before bed is NOT a good idea..makes me feel all icky in the morning…not to mention I had to stay up later so my body had a bit of time to digest.
*****Did You Know……that your body takes about 12-14hrs to actually digest something you have eaten??? Don’t believe me? Eat some corn and then you’ll know I’m telling you the truth…Keep an eye on your…CLOCK!
Hahahaha you thought I was going to tell you to keep an eye on yer poo didn’t ya? Hahahahaha!
Anyways…did the Turbo Fire HIIT 30 workout again. I like doing the 1 minute high intensity and then 1 minute slow. Allows me to feel like I am not killing myself while still working every muscle (believe me I feel it!) and work up a good sweat.
Today I only had some Arrowroot cookies for a snack (Did you know they have 1g of fat in EVERY cookie?!? Holy crud!) and another of my homemade brownies…there’s no more left and I have no intention of making anymore anytime soon..they are too freaking addictive! This may still seem like too many sweets for one day but for me, this is like having a morning snack and dessert at supper – not any extra snacking.
I am completely aware that when I eat carbs of any kind that it makes me sleepy and sluggish…Any bread, pasta, potatoes and I am ready for bed…so I need to start limiting them…great now wtf do I eat? I’m going to hopefully have some time tomorrow to pick up some healthier snacks…bag of apples and some mini carrots are on my list as well as some brown rice chips and lots and lots of water.
Speaking of water…do you get your daily need of it? I know people harp all the time about drinking enough water but, it’s amazing how much you actually need. They say 8-10 glasses of water a day is the recommended amount… Well, I drink at least 2L of water a day and will eventually be up to 4-6L a day.
I have been in the hospital hooked up to an IV because of dehydration migraines, twice. They are not fun. If you suffer from migraines that are in your eyes/eyebrow region and across your temples…chances are you are having the same problem I have, which is not getting enough water. The last time I ended up at the ER for one of these migraines the DR told me that you also need to take into account how frequently you go to the bathroom and how much you perspire and how active you are….all those things require you to replenish your lose of water.
So, if you think you are drinking enough water right now….I’m asking you to add two more cups to your daily dose…just to be on the safe side!
Okay, so I got my workout done….I have told you my sweet intake and held myself accountable…I have no intention of eating anything more tonight, just water on my list….I think that does it for my daily goals/rules…if I missed anything I’ll try to post about it tomorrow. LoL…I am way too bushed to think anymore tonight…adn the next two days are going to be super busy..especially now that I have to do workouts to start them off!
