My 100LB WeightLoss Journey Day #5
Well, we took the kids to the movies last night to see “The Croods”. GREAT family movie. I totally blew my extra snacks last night though as I ended having my popcorn (paper lunch bag size), half my daughter’s bag, 1/4 of a fudge ice cream bar (my son stole it from me), and a small bag of Ruffles All Dressed chips (my favorite). Mind you keep in mind all I had had for supper was a piece of bread with peanut butter…mistake number 1…
NEVER, EVER, skip meals….I’ve never been much of a breakfast person and I am even learning to have something in the mornings. It’s important for your body to have fuel…and I’ve read multiple times that eating every 3-4 hrs is good for your body and losing weight…
I’ve decided that to help me do this and eat more healthy, I am going to get a few dollar store snack containers and fill them at night as part of my bedtime routine to prepare for the next day – just like getting my workout wear ready.This way there is no excuse not to do what I should be doing.
So, this morning my hubby had to get up at 5am to get ready for work..I was so not ready to be awake at that time of day and so I went back to sleep….sort of…so I was late getting to my workout…didn’t happen till 7:15am!! Argh…I don’t like slow starts to my day. I like to get on top of things and get them done…that way as the rest of the day comes along there is room and time for other things to be done, including time to actually relax.
So I took a look at the Turbo Fire workouts and decided to do my extra time for my extra snacks last night… I chose to do the Fire 55 EZ workout….
I was thinking EZ stood for easy….but that is so not the case…this workout is FAST and makes you work hard for 50 of those 55 minutes…I could not keep up with a lot of the workout but I pushed myself as best I could and kept the intensity going. I certainly am sweaty and looking forward to going for my shower. 🙂
She yet again reminds you in the video that you do what you can and make the workout yours…she also tells you that as long as you are moving, that is the most important thing (My message for yesterday!!!!).
I’m currently in the process of getting some new workout videos to try..one of them is a walking workout..not sure how you can do that in your house but I’ll give it a go! Another one is a Barbie workout for kids that I told them I would do with them.
Well, time to go freshen up and start the day before these kids get all qwackadoodle……wait a minute….they already have..my son is walking up the wall with his hands on the bed and feet on the wall….ugh….
Oh, and here in NS it is mild and rainy…last night it was 19 degrees!!!
Have a great day…oh…and go look in a mirror and say “I am a great person!” and then smile, because you are!!!
Then get on with your day and get moving…remember…any extra physical activity is going to help!
